    This line is divided into branches: Havlickuv Brod, Jihlava, Ceska Lipa, Decin, original house No.67, house No.75 Nova Dvur and Pribram and Bukovina..


    Relatives branch in Havlickuv Brod

    The branch begun when my grandfather Jindrich Mirejovsky (born Feb. 24, 1890) moved to the town named then Nemecky Brod (now Havlickuv Brod) and started a family with his wife Augusta Mirejovska (born Sep. 28, 1893). There they had five children, two sons, Stanislav (1920) and Jiri I (1927) as well as three daughters, Gustava (1922), Milada (1924) and Emílie (1926)

    Gustava married in the town, husband Ruda Petrzelka, their descendants live in the town to this day.

    Emílie also married and moved to Prague.

    Milada married and moved to Marianske Lazne.

    Stanislav died tragically in 1935, hit by a car while standing on a sidewalk.

    Jiri I (my father) married (1952) and moved to the Ústí nad Orlicí. His two descendants, son Jiri II (1952) and daughter Ivana (1956) were born there.

    That branche continues over the son Jiri III (1979) and his son Jiri IV (2009).

    Founder of the branch is Cenek II Mirejovsky (born 1915, son Cenka I born 1881) and his wife Marie (born 1922 - née Vitkova), they had two descendants.

    In this house I was born 17 ancestors named Mirejovsky.

    Miroslav and his wife Emilie lived in this house until 2021 in Nový Dvůr.

    The founder of the branch is Katerina Mirejovska (born 1877, married name Mejstrik) and her husband Josef Mejstrik (born 1872 ), they had two childrens. Daughters Marie (1903) and Bozena (1905).

    Marie and Bozena are married to brothers Levinsky (Rudolf and Jaroslav). Bozena, married name Levisky, she had one children, daughter Bozena II (1929), married name Plisek

    The founders of this line are Josef Mirejovsky born in Podhorany house number 31 (cottager) and his wife Katerina (née Matejka), who had one son Josef II, born 1801 in Novy Dvur house number 67 (cottager). This son had two descendants, the sons Josef III born 1840 and Jan Filip born 1844 (cf. line H.B.)

    Josef III born 1840 had 6 children, 3 sons, Josef V (1867-1873), Jan Nepomuk (1869-1882) and Vincenc (1873-1956) and 3 daughters, Marie (1873-1873), Marie II (1876-1959) and Katerina (1879-1965)

    The person who was key for the continuation of this line was Vincenc I, born at house Number 76 in Novy Dvur (1873-1956). He and his wife Emílie (1877-1974) had 5 children, three sons, Vincenc II (1899-1987), Josef V (1905-1917) and Frantisek (1907-1991) and 2 daughters, Emílie, married name Andreová (1897-1976) and Stefanie, married name Nerad (1901-1993)

    The first son Vincenc born 1899 had two descendants, the daughters Vera born 1939 and Eva born 1945. This family had no further issue

    The line was also continued over the third son Frantisek born 1907 who had 3 children, a daughter Jitka born 1940 and Emílie III born 1941 and a single male descendant, a son named Karel born 1947.

    Relatives from the Teplice-Prague branche

    This line was founded by Jan Mirejovsky born 1829 in Bukovina and his wife Marie (née Rozum) born 1836 in Rasov.(district Chrudim).

    Until 1884 the couple resided in Bukovina and then moved to Teplice. They had 9 children, 5 children he died in youth. Two sons, Josef (1876-1957) and Jan II-Johan (1862-1942) and two daughters, Anna I (married name Rolenec ) and Marie (married name Makalous ) - they found familie.

    Jan (Johan) together his wife had three descendants. Son Josip (1900-1967) and two daughters Micik (Mizzy) and Vilma.

    Dencendant Josip (Tomislav ) liev in Zagreb at Croatia.

    This line was continued by Josef (1876-1957) b. in Bukovina and his wife Marie (née Dostal) born 1882 in Heřmanův Městec, who had 4 children. Three sons, Josef II (1905-1988), Jan III (1911-1984) and Lubomír (1925-2002) and one daughter, Jiřina (1903-1992, married name Hladka). Josef II b. 1905 and his wife Marie (née Vinter, 1905-1996) founded a line of Prague physicians. Their only son, professor MUDr. Pavel Mirejovsky (1933-1999), worked as Head of the Hlava First Pathological Institute at Prague-Albertov since 1989.

    This line continues through his son MUDr. Tomas Mirejovsky (born 1961) and daughter MUDr. Pavla, married name Rozmarova. Tomas’s son Matej Mirejovsky was born 2003.

    Jan II, born in Teplice in 1911, and his wife Vera (née Lochman) born in 1913 in Nove Mesto nad Metuji, had two sons. Jan III, born 1941 and Petr, born 1945 . Lubomir, born 1925 in Košťany near Teplice, and his wife Irene (née Cibula) born 1927 in Virginia, had 4 descendants. A daughter Jana, born 1952 (married name Lesikar), a son David, born 1954 and twin daughters Marie (married name Treslova) and Marta (married name Benesova) born 1959.

    The line continues over the sons David II, born 1981 and Jan born 1983. David´s second marriage with wife Hana - children Anna (2017) and Pavla (2010). Son David II, foreign correspondent of the Czech Television (at this time stationed in USA) has three children, namely, the sons David III born 2007, Petr II born 2009 and Simon born 2012.


    Distant relatives in the American branche

    We know that a Josef Mirejovsky emigrated to the US and married a Katerina Stranska there in 1889. A son Edward Josef was born 1890 and a daughter Helen was born in 1894. In 1968 Jan Mirejovsky (1941) left Prague for the Netherlands, married Dorla Kuthanova in 1972. Together they moved to the US in 1977, lived in Evanston IL, Durham, NC, and finally in Irvine CA. Their two children, Samuel (1980) and Gabriela (1986) live there. Samuel has three children, Daniel (2007) ,Vera (2010) and Eva (2013)

    In 1968 Mr. Petr Miřejovský (1945) left Prague for Canada and now lives in Camrose, Alberta. He has a daughter Anna (1999).

    He founders of this line were Vaclav Mirejovsky borm 1770 and his wife Anna (née Karet). They had 5 children, two sons, Vaclav II born 1808 and Josef I born 1816, and three daughters, Anna I born 1794, Alzbeta born 1798 and Marketa born 1805.

    This line was continued thanks to the son Vaclav II born in 1808 who had two descendants, a son Jan I and a daughter Anna born in 1834 . This son, Jan I had 6 children, 4 sons, Václav IV (1870-1870), Josef III (1872-1872), Jan II (1872-1872) and Josef IV born Nov. 12, 1876, as well as 2 daughters, Maria born 1866 and Emílie born 1876. The line continued as well through the son Josef I born 1816 who had one descendant, a son Vaclav III, who had seven children, namely 4 sons, Josef II (1874-1878), Josef V (1878-1880), Vaclav V born 1883 and Frans (1889-1889) and 3 daughters, Katherina born 1876, Emílie and Anna, both born March 1st, 1881.

    Regrettably, this line was plagued by a rather high mortality.
