RUNNING

With an active and organized sport I started up nine years. I enrolled in a tennis club in Lanskroun. With time and improve its performance , I became a member of the club TJ Lokomotiva Czech Trebova (1990 - 1994) and later TK Ústí nad Orlicí (1995 - present) , with short breaks. In the categories of pupils , adolescents and men , I moved into the top ten in the regional rankings. At the national level it was located about 150 sites .

In 1995 I became a member of the addition of the athletic club TJ Jiskra Usti nad Orlici. I was approached by the then youth coach Jan Kovac, whom I met at secondary school competitions organized in 1995 in Ústi nad Orlici. I had reached a time running 10:05 to 3 000 m, which I without the participation of thoroughbred athletes won. I was my first race in the spikes on the cinder field. In the following years, I raced together with L. Razý, P. Dobšíček and others on the athletic oval especially at the distances of 800, 1500 and 3000m. With Jiskra Usti nad Orlici I got 2x silver medal in the team competition in junior category

During my studies at the Czech Technical University, I interrupted all active activities in the period 1997 - 2002 after graduating from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at CVUT.

In 2003 I started with tennis in TK Ústí nad Orlicí in the division and regional championship until 2010, when I returned to running. After a long time I passed the 1st running race 5.12.2009 - "Devil's Run", the day after the birth of my son Jiří 4.12.2009.

Since 2010 I have been gradually improving my performance within the time possibilities. By studying the training methods I optimize the training means so that with a smaller volume I was satisfied with my performance and the running for me was still mainly fun and relaxation.

I am inspired by Emil Zátopek's training methods, but beware !!!! only in the beginning of his career. It is wrongly stated that he was a fan of only volume training !!!

I made myself very happy last year by participating in the relay race Ravensbruck - Lidice - Ležáky, organized by J. Rýdel.
